Have You Ever Used Artificial Intelligence to Save Time on Writing a Grant Proposal?

No? We haven’t either, but many in the nonprofit sector are doing or considering doing just that, in addition to other methods of incorporating AI into their fundraising strategies. It’s a new year, and with it comes an increased role of innovation in the nonprofit sector. When it comes to artificial intelligence, some are comfortable and others not quite so. But how can we get to the “heart” of this tool in order to use it to maximize our fundraising and philanthropy efforts?

Join us for the first episode of the year, featuring our special guest, Mallory Erickson. Mallory is an executive coach, fundraising consultant, and host of the podcast, What the Fundraising. She also has her pulse on innovation and the nonprofit sector, particularly in the area of AI. You don’t want to miss this conversation on how you might consider embracing AI as a viable method for achieving your fundraising goals in the new year!

Mallory Erickson

Executive Coach, Fundraising Consultant, and Host of the podcast, What the Fundraising

Mallory Erickson is an executive coach, fundraising consultant, and host of the podcast What the Fundraising. She is dedicated to transforming the way nonprofit leaders approach their roles and fundraising efforts. With her signature framework, the Power Partners Formula™️, Mallory equips nonprofits with the unique tools needed to secure funding from foundations, corporate partners, and individuals. By October 2023, she had trained over 60,000 fundraisers with elements of her innovative, win-win framework, blending executive coaching, science-backed behavior design, and strategic fundraising practices.

Her book, What the Fundraising: Embracing and Enabling the People Behind the Purpose, was released on October 1st and delves into the history of the nonprofit sector, highlighting how a baked-in scarcity mindset has led to transactional fundraising practices that are draining for fundraisers and uncomfortable for donors. Mallory identifies strategies to shift away from these detrimental approaches, emphasizing that the wellness of fundraisers is crucial to achieving better fundraising results. If you’re ready to feel empowered, clear, and excited about your next steps in fundraising, Mallory’s work is for you.
